Advocating for At-Risk Children with Author and Grandparent Robert Martin

When his granddaughter Clara was diagnosed with brain cancer, Robert Martin started asking questions, then created the Bridge to a Cure Foundation to fund research on life-sustaining treatment for children with terminal illness. He also started writing books with his granddaughter Keira. Today Martin will talk about what he learned from his research, what it can mean going forward, how grandparents can be valuable presences in their grandchildren’s lives, and his children’s books. Call in to chat or ask a question.
