In this special edition of the Chicago PoPo Report, Paul Ciolino and Lupe Aguirre dare to ask; Is there a serial killer on the loose in Chicago? 51 women have been murdered since 2001 on the city's South and West sides and their cases remain almost entirely unsolved. Award-winning journalist John Fountain and four of his Roosevelt University students detail how their project, "Unforgotten: The Untold Stories of Murdered Women" looks to shed light on the victims, and discuss the inherent problems in media that keep these stories out of the headlines. In order to get a grasp on the severity of the situation, Paul and Lupe also talk with Dr. Brent Turvey, one of the world's foremost criminologists. Dr. Turvey gives a masterclass on serial killers, including the history of the word, why police and politicians refuse to use it, and why he believes it's likely that there is a serial murderer in Chicago.
