24: Approaching Difficult Conversations with Your Child

Published: July 15, 2020, 10 a.m.

It's always hard to know where to start those conversations about difficult topics with your children. We often feel they may be too young or too innocent to have these conversations, but the reality is they are curious and curious minds deserve open conversation.

On this episode, I welcome Jelani Memory. He is an author, father, and owner of A Kids Book About. A publishing company geared towards having those difficult conversations with your children.

Some of the topics of their books include: Racism, Disabilities, Empathy, Bullying, Depression, Divorce, Body Image, Cancer, Anxiety, Feminism, Mindfulness, and so many more. The books are geared towards school aged children 5+.
