Four year parliamentary terms could come sooner than we think.
Jacinda Ardern and Judith Collins are both in favour of the idea, making it known at the second leaders' debate earlier this week.
In fact, most party leaders agree including ACT's David Seymour, New Zealand First's Winston Peters and the Greens if it's put to the public.
