The actors\' union has reached a tentative agreement with Hollywood studios.\\xa0

The 118-day strike was sparked by demands for increased minimum salaries, a share of streaming service revenue, and protection from being replaced by digital replicas generated by AI.\\xa0

US correspondent Richard Arnold told Mike Hosking that this was the longest strike in the union\'s history. \\xa0

He says this is a billion-dollar bonus for the actors, with more money to be paid by streaming services, and more control over the use of AI material.\\xa0
