Helen Petousis-Harris: One in 10 children miss out on vaccines

The number of people rejecting vaccines in some parts of the country is on the rise.
Recent data has shown one in 10 two year olds in some areas haven't been vaccinated against deadly diseases, because their parents opted to say no.
The country's on the brink of a vaccine roll-out for Covid-19, but it comes as the number deemed "vaccination willing" has fallen to 90 percent.
Vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris told Mike Yardley we're on a slippery slope.
"We were actually sitting pretty pretty at 1994. We've been taking a wee dive in recent years."
She says those who say no are selfish.
"If you decline this, it's not just about your own health or the health of your family, but also that of others."
The lowest rates of decline are in Canterbury and Auckland.
