Tonight on Talk of the Town with Nick Eden we will be discussing the current state of hip-hop.  Many have seen Hip-Hop evolve from conscious, political, and party to gangsta, criminal, sexual, and drug.  Hip-Hop music has influenced the masses effecting culture, style, and even some people's psychological mindstate. So where do we see music going currently?  Did gangsta, criminal, sexual, and drug in rap music influence the mindstate of the masses in a negative way? Did the evolution of Hip-hop hurt the genre or help it? Will conscience, educational, and political music be accepted by the masses ever again at the magnitude of gangsta, criminal, sexual, and drug rap?
