Should artists be more conscious of their lyrics or is it just a matter of art in its total expression? This conversation started in the 80's with groups like the N.W.A and even went to the supreme court with the 2Live Crew. By having the freedom to say what they want many artists took up the mantel of activists thorough lyricism with groups like P.E. ,Paris,Poor Righteous Teacher and countless others becoming a way to change a generation. Now in current times lyrics cut the boundary of filthy to genius. Today on the Talk of the Town we will talk about the Freedom of Speech in Hip-Hop. Let your voice be heard."
