Is red meat healthy or unhealthy? If you ask most people, they will tell you that they think it is decidedly unhealthy. Why? Because they've heard it is linked to obesity, heart disease, and cancer in research so many times over the years that they just believe it is true. So when another "big" study out of Oxford University comes along in April 2019 linking red and processed meat consumption to bowel cancer, people get all up in arms about what they should be eating in their diet.
