Workers Memorial Day
Leslie is joined by Mike Wright, the Director of Health, Safety and Environment for the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union.
They discuss 'Worker's Memorial Day,' a day to remember those who have suffered and died on the job and to renew the fight for safe jobs. (It falls on April 28th this year)
They also discuss the fight to protect workers from harmful silica particles, which cause the potentially fatal 'silicosis.'
