He and Leslie cover all the recent nominations President-elect Donald Trump has made for his cabinet including controversial picks like Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education and climate denier Scott Pruitt for head of the Environmental Protection Agency. Many of these picks are very unnerving from a liberal's perspective especially because, as Brad and Leslie consistently bring up, the inexperience that plagues many of these officials going into their new jobs.

By the grace of god, breaking news came out during the program that indicated former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani will not be considered for the position of Secretary of Defense.

Leslie and Brad go on to chat about the fact that Trump has only been receiving 1 intel briefing a week and has actually been turning them away as well as the race for DNC chair.
