Leslie and callers discuss the federal investigation into Russia's involvement in our 2016 election. President-elect Trump says he doesn't believe American intel assessments that Russia had intervened to help his candidacy, casting blame for the reports on Democrats. "I think it's ridiculous. I think it's just another excuse," Trump said.

The CIA has concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win the presidency, rather than just to undermine confidence in the U.S. electoral system.

One has to ask why Trump doesn't want to unify behind this investigation (which has bi-partisan support) to clear his name before his inauguration and why he would rather fight the investigation and appoint Rex Tillerson (a friend of the Kremlin) as Secretary of State. This nomination has already created a rift in the Republican party.
