The Death of Cecil the Lion, and his killers

I'm rejoined by Mark Levine to discuss the death of Cecil the Lion, and his killers (including Walter J. Palmer, a dentist from Minnesota). The story was first discovered after someone shared it on social media, which then led to a massive number of negative reviews of Palmer's Dentistry practice on Yelp, a local business review and social networking site. This huge number of negative reviews on Yelp is what led to the story of Cecil's death going viral.

"The hunters lured (Cecil the Lion) out of the sanctuary of the park with a dead animal on top of a vehicle, a conservation group said.

Palmer, officials said, then shot the lion with a crossbow, a method for which he is known. But Cecil survived another 40 hours until the hunters tracked him down and shot him with a gun."
