Stopping the Syrian Slaughter; Gun Violence in America

Victoria Jones guest hosts for Leslie during today's show. Victoria is the White House correspondent and political analyst for The Talk Radio News Service.
She joins Leslie on the show every week as our TRNS Reporter.

Victoria starts the show by discussing what she finds to be the most interesting stories from today's headlines.

Next, she is joined by Dr. Harlan Ullman, who serves on the Senior Advisory boards for Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), one of NATO’s two strategic commanders, and Commander of U.S. European Command (EUCOM).
They discuss how to go about stopping the violence in Syria, where nearly 300,000 Syrians have been killed in the past 4 and 1/2 years.

During the second hour of the show, Victoria is joined by callers as they discuss gun violence in America. Among the topics covered is how there are now more guns in America than people, and how if the number of deaths caused by guns were caused by almost anything else, Congressional Republicans would be up in arms.
