Leslie is joined by callers as they discuss the story of Philando Castile, an African-American who was shot to death by a police officer in Minnesota following a routine traffic stop for a broken taillight. Castile's girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, live-streamed the moments after her boyfriend was shot over the social media platform 'Facebook Live.' At the time of the shooting, Reynolds 4-year old daughter was in the backseat of the car.

Reynolds says on the video that when the police officer asked Castile for his license and registration, before reaching for it Castile told the officer that he had a concealed-carry permit and was carrying his firearm in the car. Reynolds says that after Castile told the officer about the firearm, the officer shot Castile in the arm four times when he reached for his license and registration.
