Danielle Guilday and Shane Farnan guest host for Leslie during today's show. They are Producers of "The Thom Hartmann Program."

Danielle and Shane start the show off with our daily 'Ripped From The Headlines' news segment.

Next, they're joined by Peter Dreier, Professor of politics at Occidental College and Author of "The 100 Greatest Americans of the 20th Century: A Social Justice Hall of Fame." They discuss his recent article for 'The Nation' entitled "What Kind of Mayor Was Bernie Sanders?"

Then they're joined by the White House Correspondent for The Talk Radio News Service, Victoria Jones, as she gives us the latest news from the Capitol.

The second hour of the show focuses mainly on the events outside of a pool party in McKinney, Texas this past Friday. A video there shows a police officer slamming a bikini-clad 14-year-old girl to the ground and then pulling his gun on other teens who tried to come to her aid.

To begin the hour Danielle and Shane are joined by Goldie Taylor, a veteran journalist, opinion writer and filmmaker.

During the final segment of the show, Danielle and Shane take calls from the audience as they further discuss the incident in McKinney.
