The guest host for today's show is Brad Bannon. Brad runs Bannon Communications Research, a polling, message development and media firm which helps labor unions, progressive issue groups and Democratic candidates win public affairs and political campaigns. Brad is first joined by Paul Lisnek, a multi-Emmy, Cablefax, Telly and Beacon Award winning television host and analyst.
Paul and Brad break down the legal aspects of the January 6th insurrection and the House committee's investigation into the attack on the Capitol that day.  They also discuss the latest challenge to Roe v. Wade in the Supreme Court.

Paul has been the political analyst for WGN-TV since 2008, appearing on all the station’s newscasts discussing political issues of the day. He is the host of Politics Tonight on CLTV, on which he interviews the leading political figures in the city, state and country, and also serves as a fill-in anchor. Brad is then joined by Political Professor, Frank Sorrentino, PhD.

The two discuss whether American democracy is heading into decline, political rhetoric and violence, as well as voting rights. Finally, they wrap up their interview by analyzing what upcoming political issues could affect the outcome of the 2022 midterm congressional elections.

Dr. Sorrentino received both his PhD and Master's Degree in Politics from New York University and has spent time on the faculty of NYU, Long Island University and Kean College. He has received numerous Teaching Excellence Awards from The National Political Science Honor Society.
