Jim Comey's Double Standard

Mark Grimaldi, Executive Producer of The Leslie Marshall Show, guest hosts for Leslie during this hour of the show.

He's joined by Political Strategist Brad Bannon and callers as they discuss the unprecedented steps Jim Comey took in sending Congress the ambiguous public letter about emails that could potentially be relevant to the FBI's previous investigation of Hillary Clinton.

They also discuss newly revealed information that, according to a report by CNBC's Eamon Javers, "FBI Director James Comey argued privately that it was too close to Election Day for the United States government to name Russia as meddling in the U.S. election and ultimately ensured that the FBI's name was not on the document that the U.S. government put out."
Mark and Brad highlight the hypocrisy of Comey pushing for the FBI not to be involved in that letter on October 7th, citing how close the election was, but having no problem sending his vague letter to Congress on October 28th.
