Hypocrisy of the Oregon Standoff and Those Who Caused It
In our open phones hour, Leslie is joined by callers as they chat about the ongoing standoff in Oregon between militiamen, led by Ammon Bundy, and local and federal law enforcement officials as it enters it's fifth day. What do they want? For federal lawmakers to give back government owned land to the people of Oregon. Funny considering the land is technically owned by the taxpayers.
Question: Why were Ferguson protesters met with tear gas and tanks, yet Oregon militia are allowed to break into a building and occupy it with no response for days?
How would this situation be handled if armed black men had taken over the federal building in Oregon? Would there be shots fired?
