The guest host for today's show is Brad Bannon. Brad runs Bannon Communications Research, a polling, message development and media firm which helps labor unions, progressive issue groups and Democratic candidates win public affairs and political campaigns. His show, 'Deadline D.C. with Brad Bannon,' airs every Monday from 3-4pm ET.

Brad is first joined by Dr. Rachel Kleinfeld, a Senior Fellow in the Democracy, Conflict, and Governance Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

There she focuses on issues of rule of law, security, and governance in post-conflict countries, fragile states, and states in transition.

The two discuss how important it is to hold those accountable who try to use violence to swing elections, including those responsible for the January 6th Capitol insurrection.
