During this hour Leslie interviews Emily Gee, Health Economist for the Health Policy team at the Center for American Progress.

They’re joined by callers as they discuss the contents of the AHCA 2.0 that narrowly passed the House today, how it would affect Americans with pre-existing conditions, and what’s next in the Senate.

Prior to joining American Progress, Emily Gee was at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where she worked on implementation of the Affordable Care Act since 2013. As an economist in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, she supported the department’s outreach to uninsured individuals and authored numerous analyses on health coverage and the insurance exchanges.
