Leslie is re-joined by good friend Brad Bannon. Brad runs Bannon Communications Research, a polling, message development and media firm which helps labor unions, progressive issue groups and Democratic candidates win public affairs and political campaigns.

They review the Republican debate from the evening before (1-14-16).
Then they go over the state of the Democratic primary, including Iowa and New Hampshire.

Leslie and Brad also discuss why they think the Democratic Debate schedule was so poorly planned, with a large majority of the debates being scheduled on weekends when TV viewership is very low. There is also the matter of the DNC scheduling many less debates than the RNC did for their candidates.
