The guest host for today's show is Brad Bannon. Brad runs Bannon Communications Research, a polling, message development and media firm which helps labor unions, progressive issue groups and Democratic candidates win public affairs and political campaigns. His show, 'Deadline D.C. with Brad Bannon,' airs every Monday from 3-4pm ET.

Brad is first joined by Charlie Cook, Founder and Contributor to 'The Cook Political Report,' and a political analyst for the National Journal and NBC News.

The two evaluate President Biden's first year in office, and then look ahead to the congressional midterm elections taking place this coming November.

Charlie Cook's Twitter handle is @CharlieCookDC and the handle for 'the Cook Political Report' is @CookPolitical.

During the second half of the show, Brad leads a political round-table with Tara Devlin and Mark Grimaldi. The trio discuss the current state of American politics, including the country's broken campaign finance system, and the corporate media's narrative about the Biden administration and its opponents.
They also analyze what the best approach is for President Biden and congressional Democrats heading into the 2022 midterm elections.
