Congressman Ro Khanna on 2020 Election, SCOTUS Vacancy and More

The guest host for today's show is Brad Bannon. Brad runs Bannon Communications Research, a polling, message development and media firm which helps labor unions, progressive issue groups and Democratic candidates win public affairs and political campaigns. His new show, 'Deadline D.C. with Brad Bannon,' airs every Monday from 3-4pm ET.

Brad is first joined by Congressman Ro Khanna. He represents California's 17th congressional district, including Silicon Valley.

They discuss the 2020 Elections, the COVID-19 stimulus package that is sitting on Senate Majority Mitch McConnell's desk after being carefully put together by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the vacancy on the Supreme Court and Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

Representative Khanna sits on the House Budget, Armed Services, and Oversight and Reform committees and is first vice chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. He also serves as an Assistant Whip in the Democratic Caucus. His Twitter handle is @RepRoKhanna.

During the second half of the show, Brad leads a political round-table with Tara Devlin and Mark Grimaldi. The roundtable expands on the topics from the first half hour, and also discusses Trump and his Republican colleagues testing positive for COVID-19 after failing to take the proper precautions like wearing masks and social distancing.
