Mark Grimaldi, Executive Producer of The Leslie Marshall Show, guest hosts for Leslie during this interview.

He's joined by D.W Gibson, contributor to 'The Nation' and author of the recently published book "The Edge Becomes the Center: An Oral History of Gentrification in the Twenty-First Century. "

They discuss D.W.'s article for 'The Nation' entitled "America, the Unaffordable. There’s a housing crisis. Everywhere. Can New York City create a blueprint to solve it?"

Here's one of many compelling paragraph's from the article, which they explore during the interview:
"the Urban Institute issued a report on housing affordability across the United States. The central finding is shocking: There is no county in the United States that has enough affordable housing to meet the needs of its poor renters—not one. "
