b'Hakomi is a way of being with another that is, in essence, mindfulness based assisted self-study. It is experiential, focused on the present and makes use of reactions evoked by little experiments with a person in a mindful state as a way of discovering how we organize our experience and to release limiting beliefs about ourselves. Underlying and supporting this process is the practice of Loving Presence, created by focusing on those qualities of the other that inspire and nourish us.'
