b'On Oct 15, Alyssa Milano Tweeted this .

Me too.

Suggested by a friend: If all the women who have been sexually assaulted ‘Me too.’ as a status, we might give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem.

If you’ve been sexually harassed or assaulted write “ me too” as a reply to this tweet.

Since then, 68, 000 replies to Milano’s Tweet on Twitter. By last Monday Twitter confirmed MeToo has been tweeted more than a half a million times.More than 6 million Facebook User were talking about “Me too. Instagram has more than 300,000 posts associated with the hashtag.

It has opened the door for deeper conversations, thoughtful responses, and debate. But we need more.Much more.

But what?

That’s what we need to find out.

On Sunday, we recorded Part 1 with Alexis, Jenn and Kali. You can listen to that here.

Today, Curtis Harren, Tee Crane will join me in the Man only discussion.

Now, if you are expecting a podcast to mansplain the issues away, or debate statistics, this won’t be that Podcast.

Since we recorded Part 1 last Sunday here are some of the stories in the news.

Last Sunday, while we were actually recording at a tailgate at the Buffalo Bills game, men were actually throwing women through tables. As well, men were cheering men on doing this.

Rachel McAdams detailed an alleged harassment by screenwriter James Toback.

Adam Blampied a popular YouTube Vlogger from What Culture announced on Twitter that he is taking a leave of absence after admitting to soliciting nude photos from multiple women. He apologized because he falsely claimed to several woman via social media that he was in an open relationship with his girlfriend as a means to repeatedly message them and encourage them to send him images of themselves.

And right here in Metro Vancouver David Allan Murray, a Pitt Meadows City Councillor has been convicted of sexual assault. Pitt Meadows Mayor John Becker, who called Murray his “best friend” said council has no legal mechanism to force Murray out.

That\'s just a small sampling. That\'s why we need to continue the discussion.

Topics we cover include;
-The silence of men during this discussion.
-How men can respond to situations without it leading to escalation.
-What men are guilty of in all of this.
-Toxic and healthy masculinity.
-The power of mentorship.
-How men can continue to participate in this #metoo conversation.
