As Alabamians went to the polls in a special senate election on Tuesday, December 12th to cast their vote for (D) Doug Jones or (R) Roy Moore, all eyes were glued to television screens and the state of Alabama as the country waiting nervously for election results to come in.

Finally, Alabama spoke and (D) Doug Jones became the winner!

With a huge democratic win in the very conservative state of Alabama, this win just may be what the Democratic Party needs to re-energize and take back control in congress and the White House.
