b'Today we give our take on how we’ve been able to minimize or remove fear in our lives and business. The news was on one day and there were a lot of negative things being reported and Patty happened to be paying attention, so Rosie quickly turned it off. He complained when she turned it off because it was something interesting, yet it was negative and therefore unnecessary to keep it on. Because the news is so negative, we choose to keep it off and one method you can use to learn what’s going on is when you go into a restaurant, ask the waiter if there is any big news going on right now. If the waiter doesn’t have anything to report, then the news isn’t big or serious enough to worry about. We talk about triggers on social media and how this can cause many negative feelings and even fear in our lives, so we bring up how we combat this issue and how to avoid it. Sometimes people will talk about heavy subjects around your children and we have to tell them we don’t want to discuss those things around our kids, and then if anything heavy is mentioned around them, we make sure to discuss it with the kids and help them understand.

“Kids, when they’re acting like they don’t know what you’re talking about, and they’re playing, they’re still listening to what you’re saying. So even if they’re quite young, you’d be shocked at what they would be picking up on.” 15:02
