Co-Creating in Marriage | Reaching the Full Potential of Your Marriage and Family

b'We feel like every time we have moved, we’ve been faced with a new situation and trials, which in the end has increased our commitment to each other. There’s a big importance for intimacy and how much value we put into it in marriage because we have found that as we have put a lot of focus and energy into this aspect of our lives, we have developed greater fulfillment, satisfaction, and confidence in our life. Your kids know if you’re putting them first or something else first and Rosie talks about how she has seen a complete difference in how our kids were towards her when her attention wasn’t focused on them vs. how they are with how focused it is on them now. As we have become more unified in our marriage, our children approach us more as a unit now and no longer try to pit us against each other because that no longer works like it used to. “There’s no situation that can’t be changed, if you want it to change.”

“If you’re not putting your kids first, and you’re talking about work, they’re rolling their eyes in the back of their head because that’s in the way of them getting 100% to you. But if you find a way to give 100% of you to them and reach your potential around that, they’ll sell out so much to you that it will become so easy to reach your potential around them because they will facilitate it.” 20:49
