01/29/07: We Don't Need No Escalation

The latest polls show Bush received NO bump in the polls - actually, he dropped! - after his State of the Union speech last week. There was another large anti-war protest in Washington this week, and smaller sister protests in Los Angeles and San Francisco. However, Bush and his loyalists are not swayed. LIEberman, Bill Kristol, and Robert Gates say the Democrats embolden the enemy by pushing a non-binding anti-escalation measure through the Senate. Republican Sam Brownback, however, says different. Or, perhaps, this escalation is just a precursor towards the Bush cabal's next sovereign target?
