Kris Hulbert:

Kris Hulbert is a writer, director and producer with a knack for entrepreneurship and taking on the establishment. Hulbert's first film The Perfect House became the first movie to premiere on Facebook after he refused to deal with marquee distributors who pressured him to sell out the family and friends who invested in his film for the sake of launching his own career. Kris was inspired and motivated by the attempted exploitation of a naive artist to put his filmmaking career on hold in order to build a new transparent and ethical studio model for the modern artist. Hulbert founded Gratwick productions in 2016 to be a single source of finance, marketing and distribution without the fear of being preyed on physically or financially. Gratwick will launch its first public offering in May where the audience and artists can invest in Gratwick for as little as $100. Audience investors will help influence what gets funded, who gets cast and what charities each project supports. In addition, investors will receive real-time access to the entire creative process through live-streamed auditions, meetings and production sets.
