In todays episode I’m going to share a story about how I set-up a personal exercise challenge for myself (based around the Jerry Seinfeld method for getting things done) and without meaning to, I built in some obvious failure points into the process.

Possible Failure Points:
- Public Holidays over Easter 2015.
- 6 days per wk, really? Is it too much too soon?
- Will 24 red-ticks over the course of a month really mean that much to me emotionally, or represent real progress physically?
- Is my chosen day-off (Sunday) the best day off?

The Failures So Far?
- The public holidays and the limited opening times at my gym over that period really messed up the first week of the program.

What has surprised me about using the “Seinfeld Checkbox Technique?”
- The accountability of having put a photo out there of the whole month in week one.
- It’s allowed me to relax about deciding what exercises I will doing during each trip to the gym.
- It has reminded me that you don’t always need “the most noble of intentions” when making a positive habit change.

Helping out the #BBTD Pod: “If you haven’t done so yet, please consider heading to over to braverbytheday.com/itunes and leave the Braver By The Day a rating and review.”
