"True religion is a determined purpose to do right, and not to do wrong, whatever may be the consequences, in either case. It matters not what follows - wealth or poverty; honor or dishonor; good report or evil report; life or death; the mind is firmly fixed on doing right, and not on doing wrong...whatever may be the result in regard to us, our determination is settled." (Barnes' Notes) "Come what may, this is who I am, and this is my commitment. If an enemy ship wants to try to blow me out of the water, that is up to him. My colors are nailed to the mast." (Preacher's Commentary) O Saint of God, are your "colors nailed to the mast"? Are you defiantly displaying your beliefs and determined to hold onto them until the end?
