March 12, 2020: Coronavirus and Cuyahoga County

Published: March 12, 2020, 4:30 p.m.

After three confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Greater Cleveland, and a fourth in Stark County, Ohio Governor Mike Dewine declared a state of emergency, opening a phase of increased vigilance around the state. From no-handshake zones to event cancellations, school closures and illness, COVID-19 will likely have an impact for all of us. In an effort to continue our mission of creating conversations of consequence, and mindful of guidance from public health officials to avoid gatherings, we will present a live, virtual forum on the Coronavirus, its impact, and the state and local response to this unique public health threat. In City Club tradition, we will welcome questions from our virtual audience.
