Researcher and cannabis expert Michael Backes offers evidence-based information on cannabis therapy to manage an array of ailments and conditions. He provides information on how cannabis works in the human body, how best to prepare and administer it, and how to modify and control dosage. The newly revised edition is completely up-to-date with the latest information on the body's encannabinoid system, which is now understood to control emotion, appetite, and memory. He also explains a new system for cannabis classification and 21 additional ailments and conditions that can be treated with medical cannabis. Michael Backes is the Curriculum & Training Advisor for Maui Grown Therapies and a member of the company\\u2019s Science & Medical Advisory Board. He specializes in cannabis science and policy issues for a Southern California consultancy. He previously founded the nation\\u2019s first evidence-based medical cannabis pharmacy.
