This is my tribute to hope
Hope that my dreams come true
I don’t ask for the moon or the sun
I only ask for peace for all

I ask for the rain to caress the rivers
That dawn becomes infinite love
That the stars always smile at me
And that the sound of the universe surrounds us

My hope is eternal and strong
Like the birds that sing in the forest
In a world where there are no wars
Just the beauty of the creeks and the flowers

Let the sand castles stand still
And if hope ever goes away
Let’s us all have colorful dreams
Let’s us all play drums and pray

Because hope fuels this world
That continues its ancient rotation
With tall trees and a bright sun
With profound love and green lawns


Hope is green. Let us all have hope.
