Canada Day, and Why Charlene Chamberlain Can't Celebrate it This Year

Charlene Chamberlain is the owner of Anne Street Cottage in beautiful Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada, the prettiest town in North America.
Sir Winston Churchill stated that “The Niagara Parkway is the prettiest drive in the world”. Every year she stays at her cottage to Celebrate Canada Day, But......Not this year.

We talk about why she loves it so much there.

The town sits on the peninsula where Lake Ontario meets the Niagara River, which takes the water to Niagara Falls, just a 20 minute drive away.

The town boasts magnificent flower baskets and gardens, charming shops, restaurants, historic sites, walking and biking trails and 35 plus wineries.
It's also home to the Shaw Festival, the second largest professional theatre festival in North America.

No matter how many times I’ve been there, in any season or weather, Niagara on the Lake always holds its charm.
