b'25 Years of Maura! The Buzz is excited to celebrate this milestone of one of daytime\'s television icons, Maura West! In March 1995, the actress began her daytime career as Carly Tenney on, "As The World Turns." She would play this role up until the show\'s cancellation in 2010. West won two Daytime Emmy Awards for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for the role of Carly.

Shortly after, she would go on to play Diane Jenkins on, "The Young and the Restless." In 2013, West began playing the role of badass Ava Jerome on, "General Hospital." She would win the Daytime Emmy Award for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for this role in 2015.
