Aurelian Smith, Jr.[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jake_Roberts#cite_note-6) (born May 30, 1955) is a retired (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retired) American professional wrestler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_wrestling), the son of former wrestler Aurelian "Grizzly" Smith (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grizzly_Smith). He is best known by his ring name (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_name) of Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and often brought snakes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snake) into the ring, most famously a python (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pythonidae) named Damien.

Roberts is best known for his two stints in the World Wrestling Federation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Wrestling_Entertainment)\\u2014the first between 1986\\u201392, and the second between 1996-97. In 2012, Roberts moved in with fellow wrestler Diamond Dallas Page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_Dallas_Page) to seek help in getting his life back on track following years of alcohol and drug abuse.
