The creation of "National Independence Day" or "Juneteenth" as a federal holiday caught many off guard. This happened quickly, and almost immediately the Left began promoting the day as a recognition of the "day that ended slavery in America." Except it didn\'t. Slavery didn\'t end until December 6, 1865, and if you listen to the Left from 2018, slavery didn\'t end then, either. This is what makes their mental contortions on the issue so funny. It also creates a number of problems for American history, problems that will have long lasting effects. I discuss our new federal holiday in this episode of The Brion McClanahan Show.
