An Easter Prophecy
This Easter Sunday message looks at Mark 10:32-34 and a prophecy Jesus gave about the events of that first Easter Weekend. This passage shows us that Jesus knew what was going to happen to Him in advance. He would enter Jerusalem in order to fulfill what the prophets had said about the Suffering Servant. Jesus also knew about what would happen to Him in detail. He tells about seven things that go into our Easter hope. And finally, Jesus knew that He had to lead the way. As the author and perfecter of our faith, Jesus goes before us through suffering, shame, and death to victorious resurrection.
