For members of Twitter’s board, relenting to Musk and selling the company was surely the better outcome than legal jeopardy. That explains the unanimous vote. Clearly no board member wanted to be on record as being opposed to this deal in the end. In the end the board failed to create any shareholder value without Elon and they ran out of places to hide.
