As our prayers go out to the people and the church of Ukraine, we will gather on Sunday for worship to look at a timeless letter from the Apostle Peter. It was his encouragement to Christians dispersed in the first century because of Christian persecution from the Roman empire.\\nThe timeless letter of First Peter brings hope to all Christians even though we "may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials" (1:6).
