Viggo Mortensen and Matt Ross on Parenting Off the Grid

Viggo Mortensen made his film acting debut in Peter Weir's 1985 thriller Witness, and went on to appear in many notable films, including The Lord of the Rings, Eastern Promises, The Indian Runner, Carlito's Way, Crimson Tide, Daylight, The Portrait of a Lady, G.I. Jane, A Perfect Murder, A Walk on the Moon, and 28 Days.
Actor, writer and director Matt Ross is best known for his role as Alby Grant in the HBO series, Big Love, Gavin Belson in HBO series Silicon Valley and as Eddie Scott in the 2005 film Good Night, and Good Luck, earning him a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. He also played Charles Montgomery on the first and fifth seasons of FX's series American Horror Story.
Matt wrote and directed the feature film 28 Hotel Rooms and his new film is Captain Fantastic, starring Viggo Mortensen, which he also wrote and directed.
Viggo and Matt were in the Northwest for the Seattle International Film Festival. Captain Fantastic opens this Friday, July 15th.
