Bonus | Find More Kidcasts with Kids Listen Mashups!

Published: March 20, 2022, 8:48 p.m.

Happy Equinox! We are taking a paws while we enjoy Spring break this year by taking some fun animation classes, going to circus school, and camping in the wild, wooly, and wonderful woods of Oregon! So, we’d like to introduce you to a super fun new show from our podcasting cousins from Kids Listen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to high-quality audio content for kids and families.

Get ready to discover a new favorite for your own podcast playlist with the new series called Mashups! Every episode brings together two different podcast creators who will introduce you to each other’s podcasts, play a game you can play along with that mashes up their styles, and brings out their personalities. At the very end, you’ll get the scoop on some behind-the-scenes trivia they’ve never shared before on their own podcasts. https://app.kidslisten.org/pod/MASHUPS-by-Kids-Listen#/

And, we also couldn’t help sharing some super fun “What do you get when you cross a…” jokes in honor of Mashups.

We are also so excited to share that we will be featuring our own story mashups with our fellow Kids Listen shows; Stories For Wonderful Children and Mary Farfisa's Outer Space Radio Theater.

Special thanks to Jason Roark who usually records, edits, and designs this show. He also provides original music including the song you hear playing in the background of this bonus eppie- which we edited ourselves today! We use the extremely powerful and fun editing app called Descript, and we highly recommend it for creating transcriptions, editing both audio and video, as well as creating really cool social media videos. Clicking this link benefits our show, as we are affiliates: https://www.descript.com/?lmref=bpG96A

Colin Laurel illustrated our cover art, which was directed by Jen Wick.

If you catch a moment, and can follow, rate, and/or review the show, we would be so grateful! It really helps get the word out for our small, indie, mom & pop & pup, family operation.
