b'Hayley Sales talks "Lucky Hank", working with Bruce Willis, her new album "Til The End", and that time she wrecked her car trying to make an audition!\\nAbout Hayley:\\nHayley Sales has graced some of the world\\u2019s largest stages as the opening artist for Rufus Wainwright, Gavin DeGraw, Jason Mraz, Bare Naked Ladies, G. Love and a host of other top musical talent. She is a seasoned singer, beyond her years whose stunning soulful voice has often been compared to the classic greats like Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey, Billie Holiday and Barbra Streisand. Recently Sales had the pleasure to collaborate with actress, Sharon Stone on co-writing the song, Never Before which she performs on her upcoming Till The End album. When not performing, writing or recording her music, she is working in front of the camera as an actress.\\nSales, stars opposite Bruce Willis in the Tubi TV action film, Corrective Measures. Set in the world\\u2019s most dangerous maximum-security penitentiary, she plays Isabelle Josephs, an MD who finds herself in the middle of anarchy and chaos when tension amongst inmates and staff heightens. Also...fans of television rom/coms can now see her in Amazon Prime\\u2019s, Just For The Summer. The film follows two former childhood sweethearts, Pen Campbell (Sales) and Jason Humphrey (Brian Daugherty) as they pretend to be a couple to get their matchmaking grandmothers off their backs. Next up for Sales is a recurring cameo role in the upcoming Bob Odenkirk helmed limited AMC series, Lucky Hank where she plays Missy, a polished yet flirtatious and easily irritated television reporter.\\nOn the silver screen, this Canadian-American actress appeared in the film Deadpool 2, as the wife of Josh Brolin\\u2019s character. She also received a prestigious 2021 Leo Award nomination for the musical film, STAND from the British Columbia Film & Television Industry for her portrayal of Helen Armstrong, a Canadian activist and leader of her local chapter of the Women\\u2019s Labour League in the late 1800s to early 1900s. On the small screen, Sales has guest starred on The Good Doctor, Supergirl, Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, Cedar Cove and Heartbeat. The origin for her career started at an early age when Sales was born into a world of music in the heart of Washington, DC. Her father, Richard Sales was a musician who played with The Ramons, the Grateful Dead and Miles Davis. He also owned and operated GlassWing Studios in the basement of their Victorian home where she would sit for hours on the mixer, letting the R&B beats and soulful melodies rock her to sleep.
