201: I'm A Person, Too with Kalon Ludvigson

Published: Oct. 26, 2020, 8 p.m.

With 20 World Cup and World Championships Medals in Tumbling and Double Mini Trampoline, Kalon Ludvigson became an American trampoline and tumbling champion. Then, in 2013, he suffered a spinal injury that left him paralyzed.

In conversation with Chelsea, he opens up about the discomfort of being overlooked and how he celebrates those who are courageous enough to approach and ask him questions rather than stare, assume, or look away.  He talks about his struggle to leave a toxic relationship, the loving relationship he is in now, no longer sweating the small stuff, where he finds his identity, and what freedom looks like to him today.
