Where do you go to find real truth these days? Everyday I am confronted with statements in the media and on television that simply are not based on truth. The Bible says that “The truth shall make you free.” – John 8:32. Conversely, lies can put you in bondage and even destroy your way of life. In this week’s TGIF@Work podcast I take a look at some recent statements we’ll discuss if they are true. Covid-19 is a dangerous pandemic that requires you to avoid interaction with others at all cost. Is Black Lives Matter helping the African American community? Should the wealthy be heavily taxed to achieve income equality? Should every American receive money from the government? We should not be concerned about the national debt. It’s a good idea for professional sports team like NFL and NBA to have a separate anthem along with the National Anthem sung before game time. Change can only happen with a revival in our nation.
