God said the people of Israel would be brought out of 400 years of slavery so they could worship Him. God desired to bring that generation to the Promised Land, but they never went. Why? Their knowledge never resulting in actions that were based on what they believed. If we believe God, but do not act on our beliefs, then we will be like the people of Israel, never coming into the Promised Land. This requires faith, participation, and risk.
